AeroModeller Magazine October 2024
We are happy to carry AeroModeller magazine from the UK! Every issue is dedicated to model building and flying with a focus on Free Flight, Control Line and some R/C, including tips and tricks, and free plans for models you can build!
Each month, we will carry a limited number of copies, so get yours while you can! If you only want the magazine, see below for a special coupon.
The October 2024 issue includes:
Free Plan – Mini Bomber
24" span Free Flight model for small glow plug or diesel engines. The original design was by John Kemp in the 1940's and the included plan was drawn by the author of the article, Andy Brough. This will make a nice S.A.M. (Society of Antique Modellers) type of freeflight model, but it might not be officially SAM-approved. It would also make a nice rubber-powered sport model!
BMK ThermalHunter
Another great product from BMK in the UK! This article is not just a review, it goes into great detail about how to set up and use this clever thermal detection system.
Lulu RC Glider
The Lulu glider plan can be found on the internet, but this article covers a kit available from another cottage supplier, together with information about how the author built and setup his model. Intended for slope or bungee launching and small RC gear.
Lifting Tails
The pros and cons of using a lifting tail are covered and a CG calculator for models is included.
Event Coverage
Ivinghoe Soaring Association, Free Flight Scale and Control Line events are covered.
...and much more!!
